| The Bear Center is dedicated to replacing misconceptions with facts worldwide. It is also working to conserve bear habitat, stop poaching for bear body parts, rehabilitate injured and orphaned bears back to the wild, and implement methods to reduce conflict between humans and bears. |

| We are in the process of setting up this foundation. The goal of the foundation is to use a portion of the proceeds from Huge Bear Wines to support efforts to restore and preserve natural habitats. Maintaining and restoring natural habitats is an important part of ensuring that our global ecosystem is kept a treasure future generations. |

| The BEAR League is a completely volunteer, community based, not-for-profit organization in the Lake Tahoe Basin, Truckee and beyond, committed to keeping bears safe and wild in their natural habitat. We believe that our guiding principle, "People Living in Harmony with Bears" is achievable as the public becomes educated as to the true gentle nature of the Black Bear. |
