The people that make up Huge Bear wines are passionate about wine and making every customers’ experience positive and enjoyable. Our winemaking team includes: Douglas Danielak, our Director of Winemaking and Derek Baljeu, our Enologist/Winer Production Manager. While traditionally trained, Douglas is challenged by the creativity required to craft the Huge Bear wines.
There are many other people that make Huge Bear what it is today: all the co-founding partners, Jim Bailey, Essel Bailey, and Tom Costin; Debi Leal, our amazing President; Joy Mesick, our incomparable Wine Guide; Laura Kirk Lee, our incredible Vice President of Sales and Marketing; Alicia Antone, our super-talented DTC Sales and Marketing Manager; Luis Reyneri, our near superhuman Director of National Sales; Fiona England, our Office Administrator extraordinaire; our tireless Controller, Donovan Hudson and our rocket-scientist smart CFO, Matt Rhoades; all the winery and vineyard staff, and of course each of you, who are the reason we all strive to make each vintage of Huge Bear wine special.
